Last week it was the Northeast PA Classic held at Elmhurst Country Club in Moscow, PA. Moscow is just to the east of Scranton and a new home for this tournament from last year. This week it was Xerox Classic on the Nationwide Tour. This event takes place at the Irondequoit Country Club in Rochester, NY. Skip Kendall has played here before, but this was my first trip to Rochester and my first time at Irondequoit CC. Read more

A late decision to play in the Cox Classic turned out to be a good one. Skip Kendall decided at the last minute to make the trip to Omaha, NE for the Nationwide event held at Champions Run CC. Skip had played here before, but this was going to be my first trip to Omaha for this event. Read more

Golf is a strange game. This was going to be a week that in my opinion did not set up very well for Skip. We were at The Ohio State University Scarlet Course for one of the bigger events on the Nationwide Tour. I have caddied for Skip on this course the last two years at the US Open qualifier and it really does not set up well for him. Read more

This week it was the U S Bank Championship in Milwaukee or as Skip Kendall likes to call it, The Fifth Major. Skip grew up just a couple miles from the Brown Deer Golf Course and played this public golf course growing up. It is thrill for him to come back to Milwaukee and play this event each year. It was a pretty good week overall at the Nationwide Tour Players Cup, the first Million Dollar event on the Nationwide Tour. The course continued to play long and soft due to the nightly rains. Because of this the tour was forced to play lift, clean and place for 3 out of the 4 rounds. Read more

After a week off history is being made on the Nationwide Tour. It is the first Million Dollar event in the tour’s history. The top 144 players off of this years money list are in the field. With the $180,000 first place check, whoever wins this week just about guarantees himself a PGA Tour Card in 2009. Read more

A brand new event on the Nationwide Tour this week, the Ford Wayne Gretzky Classic held near Collingwood, Ontario, Canada. Because of the high cost of travel this week this is one of the few times during the year that I actually travel and stay with Skip Kendall for the week. Read more

This week it was the Knoxville Open, played June 16th - 22nd at Fox Den Country Club. It was a pretty typical week on tour. Read more

Not much to report this week. Week #5 in a row was a bit too much for Skip. After competing in 36 hole US Open qualifying on Monday, flying to Raleigh, NC on Tuesday and having an 8 AM pro-am tee time on Wednesday there was not much left in the tank for the start of play on Thursday. Read more
