Last week I was asked to work for a young player who made it to the second stage of tour qualifying for the first time. The season ending event on the Nationwide Tour was held November 6-9 at the TPC Craig Ranch in McKinney, Texas. McKinney is just north of Dallas and an easy 235 mile drive for me for the final event of the year. I was fortunate to work a second stage tour qualifier on this course last November for Scott Gutschewski so I was quite familiar with this course going into the week. Read more

After working the Administaff Small Business Classic in my hometown last week it was another homecoming week for me when I went to Miami for the Miccosukee Championship. I was born and raised in Miami so this was another week that I was looking forward to on the schedule. Read more

Wow, what a blast I had this past week working my first Champions Tour event in The Woodlands, TX. Not only did I get to work in my hometown, but I got to work for Fred Funk who has been a good friend of mine since our days at the University of Maryland. Fred was also my first “boss” when I started caddying on Tour in 1992 and we shared our first win together on the very same course that the Administaff was being played on this year. Read more

Another new tournament for me this week. My first trip to Utah and to the Nationwide’s Utah Championship. This event is held in Sandy, UT a southern suburb of Salt Lake City. Read more

Last week it was the Northeast PA Classic held at Elmhurst Country Club in Moscow, PA. Moscow is just to the east of Scranton and a new home for this tournament from last year. Skip and I started the week by driving together from Rochester, NY to Scranton on Monday. A short practice session Monday afternoon and we were ready to go for the week. Read more

This week it was Xerox Classic on the Nationwide Tour. This event takes place at the Irondequoit Country Club in Rochester, NY. Skip Kendall has played here before, but this was my first trip to Rochester and my first time at Irondequoit CC. Read more
